- A book launch and signing for A Slice of Apple Pie ... was held at Borders, The Square, Bournemouth on 5 July, from 1100-1400. Thank you to all those who stopped to chat with Julie Musk and bought a book. The winners of the free draw were: J. Cole, G. Toth, T. Hyde and K. Edwards.

- A book signing will take place for A Slice of Apple Pie ... at Waterstone's, Dorchester, on Sat 26 Jul, from 1100 to 1400, put a note in your diaries if you would like to meet the author and discuss her American experiences.

- Roaring Dorset! will be launched at the Dorset County Show, Dorchester, on Sat 6 Sept. Visit our stand in the Shopping Marquee and discuss your big cat encounters with the author, Merrily Harpur.
